About the Practice

Our amazing team specializes in children's diabetes, thyroid concerns, hormones and a variety of other endocrinology concerns in children. Our office is made up of about 50 team members such as Physicians, APPs, RN, Certified Diabetic Educators, Registered Dieticians, Social Workers, Medical Assistants and Ambulatory Clinical Technician and a few more key players. Our team enjoys working hard together but also celebrating one another with various team appreciation events, fun Fridays and overall being a family supporting our community. About Outpatient Clinics

Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area.

Scope of work

Acts as a team member in the delivery of quality patient care under the supervision of a Provider or Registered Nurse (RN) in the examination and treatment of patients to facilitate clinic flow and provide excellent patient care. Performs basic skills per department guidelines and policies; communicate observations to members of the health care team. It will also include rooming patients, collecting vitals, and assisting in minor office procedures. EPIC In basket work. Processing FMLA and short-term Disability work. Answering phones.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent Required
  • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required within 90 Days
