Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a GI/Endoscopy (Endo Prep/PACU) position requiring at least 2 years of nursing experience and PACU or ICU background.

Details
  • Work setting is a hospital-based Endoscopy Prep and PACU unit focused on pre- and post-procedural care for adult patients
  • Day shift, 12-hour schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
  • Epic (Optime role) is the EMR used; prior Epic experience is preferred
  • 13-week contract
Requirements
  • Active MD or Compact RN license required
  • Minimum 2 years of current nursing experience required
  • PACU experience required; current ICU RNs may be considered and trained to PACU
  • Dysrhythmia management experience required
  • BLS required
  • ACLS preferred
  • Prior ICU experience preferred
  • Experience at a 500+ bed facility required
  • Epic experience preferred
  • Critical Care Certification preferred
  • Trauma course completion preferred
  • IV access/certification preferred (for Prep role)
  • 1–2 previous travel assignments preferred
  • SSN and DOB required for consideration
  • One professional reference required for consideration
Additional Information
  • Provides pre- and post-procedural nursing care for adult patients undergoing endoscopic procedures
  • Orientation is held on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month
  • Local candidates are accepted at the same bill rate
