Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced EpicCare Ambulatory & MyChart Analyst to join our healthcare IT team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in implementing, configuring, supporting, and optimizing the EpicCare Ambulatory and MyChart modules. The candidate will work closely with physicians, clinicians, patient engagement teams, and technical stakeholders to enhance outpatient clinical workflows and improve the digital patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
  • Configure, maintain, and support the EpicCare Ambulatory and MyChart applications.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business and clinical requirements from ambulatory care and patient engagement stakeholders.
  • Design, build, test, validate, and deploy system enhancements and new functionality.
  • Support outpatient clinical workflows, provider documentation, patient scheduling, secure messaging, online appointment scheduling, patient portal access, and patient self-service features.
  • Configure and support MyChart functionality, including patient registration, appointment management, eCheck-In, messaging, results review, medication refill requests, and patient communications.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely application support.
  • Participate in Epic implementations, upgrades, optimization initiatives, and enhancement projects.
  • Execute unit testing, integrated testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Develop and maintain build documentation, workflow diagrams, technical specifications, and user documentation.
  • Collaborate with other Epic application analysts to ensure seamless integration with Cadence, Prelude, Patient Access, Resolute, and other Epic modules.
  • Ensure all configurations comply with Epic best practices, healthcare regulations, and organizational standards.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with EpicCare Ambulatory and MyChart.
  • EpicCare Ambulatory and/or MyChart Certification is mandatory.
  • Experience in Epic build, configuration, implementation, testing, and production support.
  • Strong understanding of outpatient clinical workflows, patient engagement solutions, and patient portal functionality.
  • Experience supporting integrated Epic clinical applications.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Mandatory Requirements
  • EpicCare Ambulatory and/or MyChart Certification (Mandatory)
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant EpicCare Ambulatory/MyChart experience
  • Excellent communication skills.

Preferred Skills
  • Experience in U.S. healthcare environments.
  • Strong knowledge of outpatient clinical workflows, patient engagement, and digital healthcare solutions.
  • Experience integrating EpicCare Ambulatory and MyChart with Cadence, Prelude, Patient Access, Orders, and other Epic applications.
  • Understanding of Epic implementation methodology and healthcare interoperability.
  • Familiarity with MyChart features such as eCheck-In, telehealth, online scheduling, secure messaging, patient questionnaires, and patient education.
