Ventus Executive Solutions is seeking askilled Part-Time Financial Reporting Analyst to support accounting and management operations. You will develop and distribute financial reports, perform financial analysis, support monthly close activities, and assist with audit preparation. This role also requires working across multiple accounting platforms to accurately transfer labor and expense data from Unanet into client systems, identify and resolve discrepancies, and ensure the integrity of financial information. You will be analytical, detail-oriented, technically adaptable, and comfortable working directly with clients to resolve accounting and data-entry issues. Work Location: Remote, occasional travel to Fairfax, VA

Travel:Less than 10%

Required Experience:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in accounting, financial reporting, bookkeeping, financial analysis, or related finance functions.
  • Experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), project accounting, or financial management systems.
  • Intermediate or Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to validate and reconcile financial data.
  • Ability to learn new accounting systems and processes quickly.
  • Experience entering, reviewing, and verifying labor and expense data.
  • Ability to identify data-entry errors, investigate discrepancies, and follow through to resolution.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Desired Experience:

  • Experience with Unanet project accounting software.
  • Experience with monthly financial reporting and budget-versus-actual analysis.
  • Experience preparing ad hoc reports for leadership.

The expected hourly rate for this position is $36.00-$41.00. This rangerepresentsagood-faithestimate and is not a guarantee; final compensation isdeterminedby factors such as experience, qualifications, and government contract labor rate requirements and may fall outside the stated range.
