Job description

This role is temporary and requires fulltime Monday–Friday availability.

Do you love solving hands-on technical problems and keeping systems running smoothly? Are you energized by the idea of supporting the behind-the-scenes tech that powers unforgettable movie experiences?

As our IT Cinema Hardware Technician I, you’ll be at the heart of our support operations—repairing, maintaining, and deploying cinema hardware across locations. Reporting into our Hardware Depot team, you’ll work closely with other IT groups to ensure our cinema equipment—from POS systems to back-office tech—runs flawlessly.

Whether it’s troubleshooting issues, testing new devices, or collaborating with vendors, your work helps bring the magic of cinema to life—one screen, one system, one guest at a time.

What will you be doing?

  • You will provide cinema equipment support and fulfilment services from the IT Hardware Depot for cinemas through service desk casesincluding day-to-day troubleshooting, shipping and receiving equipment, assisting in the development, testing, and deployment of products, and supporting broader IT projects.
  • You will collaborate with other IT groups to ensure ongoing operation and maintenance of Regal’s cinema infrastructure assisting with incident management and root cause analysis to ensure smooth ongoing operations.
  • You will contribute to vendor relationships by ensuring compliance with defined SLAs, SOWs, contract terms, and schedules, while also monitoring equipment status, warranty coverage, and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.

  • You will have experience supporting organization infrastructure, ideally working with multiple remote locations.
  • You will be disciplined in managing high volume detailed processes, all while delivering excellent customer service.
  • You are comfortable problem solving and working with a team to find solutions.
  • You have tactile experience working with current and planned technologies.
