Key Accountability: the Business Growth Manager will secure new client relationships and develop other avenues for the business to grow.
Responsibilities:
  • Sales & Marketing Process Ownership: own the end-to-end sales and marketing process for the company, including prospecting, qualification, needs assessment, solutions/proposal development, contract negotiation, and transition to commercialization.
  • Leader, yet Individual Contributor: you will have significant business acumen and history of leading with influence. While this is an individual contributor role, it is a member of the senior leadership team of the company and we certainly value a candidate with prior experience in sales team management. Leadership is a key component for this position, even though it has no direct reports.
  • Collaboration: to successfully close new clients you will need to quickly learn our manufacturing processes, which will require heavy collaboration with all departments in the company. Each new client brings special requirements for which you will be responsible for reviewing & securing buy-in from across the company.
  • Persistent Networking: the majority of the company's prospects arrive through network referrals and our relationships. You will be the primary touch point for these referrals and will be a steward of the company's external relationships and reputation. You will seek out ways to further these relationships and establish partnerships with other manufacturers and service providers in the industry. You will have a disciplined, persistent process of maintaining communications with key prospects and industry partners.
  • Pipeline & CRM Management: Maintain rigorous hygiene within the company CRM (HubSpot), providing accurate, data-driven revenue forecasts and pipeline visibility to the operations and finance teams to ensure seamless production planning.
  • Gross Profit Accountability: Actively manage deal structuring, pricing negotiations, and product mix to not only drive top-line revenue but achieve specific Gross Profit targets across all service lines.
  • Marketing: oversee the company's annual marketing initiatives, including: trade show attendance/coordination (1 per quarter), website performance and inquiries, advertisements, sponsorships, and any marketing agency relationships.
  • Integrated Platform Expansion: Lead the strategic rollout and sales execution of Circle's new integrated service offerings, specifically packaging brokerage, ingredient sourcing, and logistics. You will be instrumental in transforming Circle from a pure contract manufacturer into a comprehensive beverage supply platform.

The experiences that a qualified candidate will have are:
  • At least five (5) years of experience in senior sales and marketing roles within a business-to-business B2B industry, with experience in beverage manufacturing strongly preferred.
  • Prior accountability for revenue metrics, with a proven track record of successfully developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies that have driven revenue growth. Preferred: experience as the sole Sales & Marketing professional for an organization, with demonstrated success delivering results.
  • Excellent communication & negotiation skills. Successful deal management is a must, including internal negotiations with key stakeholders such as finance, legal, and operations to successfully bring a deal to closure.
  • Preferred: experience in the beverage industry or related fields.

Position Details:
Full-time, Salaried Exempt leadership position. Eligible for management bonus program and sales incentive.
