Position Summary

D2 Government Solutions is seeking a qualified EOD Operations Support Technician to provide administrative, operational, training, and facility support to the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Section. This position plays a critical role in maintaining mission readiness by supporting classified material control, technical order management, training coordination, facility operations, and compliance with security and safety requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive EOD experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a high-tempo training environment while ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures.


Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAdministrative and Operational Support
  • Provide daily administrative support to the EOD Section.
  • Draft memorandums, reports, and other operational correspondence.
  • Monitor organizational email accounts and distribute information as required.
  • Maintain and update training schedules and forecasting calendars.
Classified Material Control
  • Serve as a custodian of classified materials in accordance with applicable security regulations.
  • Maintain accountability and security of classified documents, equipment, and associated capabilities.
  • Immediately report security incidents, losses, or compromises and assist with corrective actions.
Technical Orders and Publications Management
  • Manage the EOD Technical Orders and Publications System Account.
  • Ensure personnel have access to current technical orders, policies, manuals, and safety guidance.
  • Review and implement updates to technical publications in a timely manner.
Readiness and Training Coordination
  • Maintain access to and monitor the Automated Readiness Information System (ARIS).
  • Track and forecast upcoming training requirements and course attendance.
  • Coordinate security verification requirements for inbound students and personnel.
  • Support EOD and CSTR training operations through equipment accountability, inventory management, and training aid preparation.
Facility and Range Support
  • Coordinate facility maintenance and repair requests with appropriate Government personnel.
  • Support upkeep of EOD facilities and training areas.
  • Perform range support duties, including road guard responsibilities during explosive operations.
  • Assist with the setup and execution of field exercises and training events.
Exercise and Scenario Support
  • Operate approved training devices and explosive simulators to support realistic training scenarios.
  • Support instructors and training staff during classroom and field training events.
Information Security and Compliance
  • Adhere to all requirements for handling, storing, transmitting, and safeguarding classified, unclassified, and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).
  • Comply with all applicable safety, security, operational, and environmental regulations.

Minimum QualificationsRequired
  • Graduate of the Naval School Explosive Ordnance Disposal (NAVSCOLEOD) or equivalent training program.
  • Documentation verifying graduation and military service, if applicable.
  • Prior award of a minimum EOD Senior Badge.
  • Working knowledge of Air Force EOD operations at the flight level.
  • Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to brief and instruct groups.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain eligibility for a Secret Security Clearance.
  • Honorable discharge from military service, if prior military.
Preferred
  • Experience supporting Air Force training and scheduling programs.
  • Familiarity with EOD Information Management Systems.
  • Experience managing technical publications and readiness reporting systems.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying environmental conditions.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and training materials as required.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform duties in training and operational environments for extended periods.
