Experienced Pediatric Hospitalist Physician Opportunity in Dallas, TX
Job Details:

Envision is hiring a part-time or full-time Pediatric Hospitalist to join our dynamic team of providers at Medical City Dallas Children's Hospital.

This is a great early career opportunity for Pediatric Residents (especially those considering a PHM fellowship) or for experienced Pediatricians/Hospitalists looking for productive work.

Position Profile:

  • PHM fellowship welcome, but not required

  • Daily census: 20-30 shared by two physicians + APP in summer months and 30-50 by three physicians + APP in winter months?

  • Physician 12-hours day shift covering unit across physicians from 6a to 7p

  • Full-time 120 hours/month (additional shifts if available/desired)

  • Team participates in rotation of paid home-based support night call to APP team

  • Outstanding pediatric subspecialty support; 24/7 in-house specialists in PED, PICU and CVICU

  • Meditech EMR

  • Competitive compensation and full benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401K with company contribution and CME allowance

  • H1B Visa Sponsorship, if needed


Facility Information:

Medical City Children’s Hospital is the flagship children’s hospital of the large network of Medical City Hospitals. The hospital is a 254-bed, award-winning, pediatric healthcare facility, delivering specialized pediatric care. It boasts a 37-bed pediatric med-surg unit supported by a PICU and CVICU with a robust ECMO program. The hospitalist group works alongside exceptional subspecialists in pediatric surgery, orthopedics, neurosurgery, neurology, nephrology, pulmonology, ENT, cardiology and infectious disease. The site also operates a full-service pediatric ED with board-certified PEM physicians and pediatric hematology-oncology program, in addition to a psychiatric hospital with dedicated pediatric services. Located on the same campus, Medical City Dallas includes a Level IV NICU and adult hospital, making it the only hospital in the DFW metroplex to offer comprehensive care for all ages including, women and infant services under the same roof.
