We are seeking a highly experienced and licensed Senior Associate Licensed Land Surveyor/Project Manager to take on a key leadership role within our Long Island operation. This position is ideal for a seasoned professional who brings deep technical expertise, strong project and team leadership, and the ability to independently manage complex surveying assignments.
The Senior Associate will serve as a Surveyor of Record, oversee multiple projects and play an integral role in client engagement, operational excellence, and strategic growth initiatives. This individual will be responsible for the development and growth of business relationships across our portfolio of clients, including municipalities, agencies, and private developers.

Recently, Global Infrastructure Solutions Inc. Responsibilities
  • Serve as Survey Lead on complex and high-profile projects across Long Island and the greater New York region
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects, ensuring delivery on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop junior surveyors and field crews
  • Establish and enforce QA/QC procedures and best practices across all survey operations
  • Act as Surveyor of Record, reviewing, signing, and sealing survey documents in accordance with New York State regulations
  • Oversee preparation of boundary, topographic, construction, and ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys
  • Conduct and review complex deed research, title analysis, and boundary determinations
  • Resolve challenging survey and title issues with sound professional judgment
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable local, county, and state regulations, particularly across New York and Long Island municipalities
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for key clients, including developers, engineers, architects, and municipalities
  • Support business development efforts, including proposal preparation, scope definition, and fee negotiation
  • Identify opportunities for repeat business and contribute to long-term client relationship growth

Qualifications
  • Active New York State Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license required. New Jersey Professional Land Surveyor (NJ PLS) license a plus.
  • 10-15+ years of progressive land surveying experience
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams and managing complex projects independently
  • Strong knowledge of boundary law, survey standards, and construction layout practices
  • Extensive familiarity with Long Island municipalities, permitting processes, and regulatory requirements
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, Carlson, Microstation, or similar)
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Established client relationships or proven business development experience
  • Ability to contribute to multi-disciplinary projects (survey + engineering integration)

- Compensation: Minimum: $155,000: Maximum: $185,000 The range provided is the salary that the Firm in good faith believes at the time of this posting is willing to pay for the advertised position. Exact compensation will be determined on the individual candidates' qualifications and location.
