JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking a Software Engineer with a DevOps focus to join our Trading Platform Engineering team within Investment Implementation & Trading (IIT) Technology. In this position, you will help build, automate, and operate our trading platform. This role combines software engineering with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and production reliability. You'll work closely with technology team members and business partners to deliver resilient systems and continuously improve how we build and run software.

  • Develop infrastructure and automation in AWS using Infrastructure as Code, utilizing AI-assisted tooling to accelerate provisioning and configuration
  • Improve system reliability through monitoring, alerting, and operational best practices, applying AI-driven insights for observability and anomaly detection
  • Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and contribute to continuous improvement, leveraging AI-assisted diagnostics and incident analysis
  • Partner with developers, QA, and architecture teams to ensure scalable, secure, and performant solutions, using AI tools to enhance collaboration and solution design
  • Contribute to engineering standards, including code quality, testing, and release practices, incorporating AI-assisted code reviews and test generation

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

  • Hands-on experience in SQL or other relational database technologies is desirable
  • Experience in Cloud Ops and infrastructure automation (e.g., automated provisioning, configuration, and operational runbooks)
  • Working knowledge of reliability practices such as monitoring/alerting, incident response, and root-cause analysis in a production environment

Preferred Experience
