Kellwell Food Management, a Correctional Food Service Provider is now hiring a Food Service Supervisor at the Polk County Jail located in Cedartown, KY. This is a Full-Time position with benefits. We have weekly pay and the starting rate for this position is $15.50 an hour.

Role Description

We are looking for a food service supervisor to oversee inmates in preparing the meals for the day.

Your job duties will include, but not limited to:

  • ensuring recipes are followed.
  • ensuring correct ingredients/amounts are used.
  • following food safety standards

We supervise and work with non-violent inmates.

Experience is bulk cooking facilities is preferred, but not required.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Food Preparation, Culinary Arts, and Food Sanitization
  • Familiarity with Food Safety Protocols, Nutrition Standards, and Compliance Regulations
  • Ability to work in a structured environment and adapt to a correctional facility setting
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Previous experience in correctional food service is a plus
  • ServSafe Certification or equivalent is preferred
