Job description

Winter Environmental is seeking a Project Engineer to support large-scale industrial, environmental remediation, demolition, and specialty contracting projects throughout the Southeast and Eastern United States.

This is a hands-on opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in industrial construction and environmental services. You'll work alongside experienced project managers and field leaders on technically challenging projects in active industrial, commercial, and institutional environments.

The ideal candidate is organized, motivated, willing to travel, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.

This position is based in Atlanta, GA, and requires travel to project sites as needed. Company-paid travel expenses are provided.

What You'll Do

  • Support project management and field operations teams on active projects
  • Read and interpret project plans, specifications, and drawings
  • Assist with estimating, budgeting, quantity takeoffs, and scheduling
  • Coordinate subcontractor and supplier pricing
  • Support development of work plans, logistics planning, and project schedules
  • Track RFIs, addenda, clarifications, and bid documentation
  • Assist with proposals and bid submissions
  • Attend site visits and document existing conditions
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, clients, and field personnel
  • Assist with project reporting, documentation, and cost tracking

What We're Looking For

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Bluebeam
