Job description

Bargaining Unit: EA
Rate of Pay: $25.15/hour + DOE
Summary
Cleans rooms, lobbies, lounges, offices, restrooms, corridors, stairwells, elevators, kitchen and other areas by performing the following duties. Maintain areas clean of dirt, dust, and smudges all cleaning is performed according to project schedule and intermittently as required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Stocks clean linen.
  • Transports dirty linen to holding area.
  • Cleans lobbies, lounges, offices, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, kitchen and other areas.
  • Operates washer and dryer.
  • Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, drapes and cubical curtains.
  • Inspects facilities for repairs and maintenance.
  • Dusts furniture. Washes walls, ceiling, woodwork, and polishes metalwork. Washes windows, door panels, and sills.
  • Empties wastebaskets, and empties and cleans ashtrays.
  • Transports trash and waste to disposal areas.
  • Replenishes supplies.
  • Cleans light fixtures and replaces light bulbs.
  • May be required to travel to offsite facilities.
  • Demonstrates System Values in performance and behavior.
  • Complies with System policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as may be assigned.
