Job description

Entry-level technical support performing field, sampling, and recordkeeping tasks under direct supervision across environmental media areas.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine inspections (satellite accumulation areas, central accumulation areas, POL/tank areas) and record findings.
  • Support hazardous waste labeling, accumulation, manifesting, and scheduled waste pickups.
  • Perform field sampling (water, stormwater) and collect data for reports.
  • Enter compliance data into government systems of record (e.g., waste/hazmat management and inventory systems).
  • Assist with supply and PPE inventory, spill-kit stocking, and general field support.

Qualifications:
  • Years of Experience: 0-2 years of relevant experience
  • Education Level: High School or Bachelor's degree in environmental science, biology, chemistry, or a related field
  • Clearance Requirements: Must be able to obtain and maintain a NASA PIV badge.
  • Certification Requirements: 40-hour HAZWOPER; hazardous waste (DOT/RCRA) awareness training.

Salary Range: $45,000 to $55,500
The compensation range listed for this position represents the good faith salary range Diné Development Corporation (DDC) and its subsidiaries reasonably expect to pay for the role, in accordance with applicable state and local pay transparency laws. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including the position's responsibilities, the candidate's education, experience, skills, internal equity, market considerations, and any applicable collective bargaining agreements or legal requirements.
