`The Intern will carry out specific tasks/activities (as listed below) and other duties related to the business including:
  • Evaluating the viability of sites through desktop diligence review, local/state/federal permitting research, and review of various site conditions on publicly available databases as well as internal software tools.
  • Learn to assist in the preparation, execution, and responses to utility, incentive and permitting authorities. Assist in identifying and preparing necessary submittal documents for permitting authorities.
  • Assist in process, tool and budget creation to track projects/portfolios through development cycle using software such as Smartsheets.
  • Provide staffing support at public meetings, vendor meetings and project site visits to discuss the projects with stakeholders.
  • Assisting the Director and other members of the Team with other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Interest in at developing projects through their development cycle and the ability to prioritize, multitask are essential
  • Pursuing an accredited undergraduate or graduate college/university Bachelor's degree program in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, Policy, Environmental Science, Engineering or related.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint (preferred)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment as well as complete individual tasks
  • Willingness to live by and follow Luminace's vision, mission and values.
  • Self-starter who is not afraid to ask questions and take on tasks outside of their comfort zone
  • Willingness to learn new things and be curious
  • Ability to think "outside the box" and to anticipate roadblocks encountered through site development
