Position Title: Data Science Intern
Location: Fairfax, VA
Work Arrangement: On-site
Overview:
We are seeking a Data Science Intern to support our analytics and database operations. This role focuses on database management, data pipelines, and modeling techniques
Responsibilities:
  • Assist with data parsing and database construction
  • Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and analysis
  • Help build and test predictive models and analytical tools
Required Skills/Qualifications:
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
  • Basic experience with SQL and relational databases
  • Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis
  • Understanding of data structures, analytics concepts, and statistical techniques
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
  • Experience with database tools such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server
  • Exposure to machine learning libraries (pandas, NumPy, scikit‑learn, etc.)
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Matplotlib, etc.)

In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible for an annual bonus. The pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of salary or annual bonus.
