Job description

ERM is hiring an Environmental Coordinator in Goldfield, Nevada to assist an essential ERM Client in the Mining Industry. In this critical role you will be responsible for ensuring environmental compliance with applicable regulations and existing company standards and contributing to an environment where employee health and safety is preserved. This is a full-time (40 hours per week) limited-term role for a duration of 6 months, extendable.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collect soil, groundwater, surface water and air samples for environmental analysis
  • Inspect ground disturbance and water management infrastructure (ditches, sumps, etc)
  • Review environmental data and report, investigate, and action non-compliances
  • Train personnel on environmental compliance activities and โ€˜how to complyโ€™
  • Prepare monitoring reports
  • Attend client meetings as needed
  • Provide general environmental compliance support to clients, including on-site assistance as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
  • BS in environmental science, engineering, or related discipline preferred.
  • Current MSHA certification preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in environmental compliance (we consider 3+ years as well).
  • Familiarity with environmental compliance programs in air, surface water, groundwater, etc.
  • Experience collecting soil, groundwater, surface water, and air samples for environmental analysis.
  • Experience preparing monitoring reports.
Pay Transparency

For the Environmental Coordinator position, we anticipate the annual base pay of $82,300-$101,235 ($39.56/hr โ€“ $48.67/hr USD), limited-term, non-exempt. An employeeโ€™s pay position within this range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs. This job may be eligible for bonus pay (casual and fixed-term/Flexforce employees are NOT bonus eligible).

*Benefits Eligibility is limited to Regular employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week.
