This position requires a senior level environmental professional responsible for leading regulatory compliance projects. Primary duties will be to provide consulting services for a broad array of regulatory compliance and environmental projects, including site investigation and remediation. The candidate must be able to identify, evaluate, and recommend strategies/designs to address regulatory compliance impacts. This may include leading environmental site investigations, design and development of plans and specifications, engineering analysis, observation, inspection, and reporting. Duties will include the preparation of applicable technical documents including proposals, reports, remedial action strategies, and regulatory agency correspondence.

  • Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and expand existing environmental compliance services.
  • Prepare calculations, applications, plans, reports, proposals, and other deliverables.
  • Manage projects and junior staff to ensure quality and timeliness.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients.
  • Develop proposals in response to RFPs and client requests.
  • Understand the local and regional market.
  • Participate in the development of local and regional marketing strategies.
  • Support safety efforts to promote safety rules and guidelines.
  • Evaluate problems and develop practical solutions that enable our clients to achieve and maintain compliance with environmental regulations.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering. Preference given to individuals with Professional Engineer (PE) and/or Professional Geologist (PG) registration.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a full-time consulting role or 14 years experience,
  • Be conformable working as a team in the office,
  • Demonstrate a high level of technical writing ability,
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills,
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word,
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work and possess a positive attitude,
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history, and
  • 40-Hour OSHA HAZWOPER and current 8-Hr refresher preferred.
