Job description

EMH&T is seeking a Project Coordinator to provide support for the departmentโ€™s liaison to a Fortune 10 technology industry client, including research assistance, document submittals, preparing summaries of environmental documentation, preparing schedule summaries in consultation with environmental staff, attend online meetings, communicate findings and track action items, and other tasks as needed.

This position combines project coordination, technical writing, and client-focused service to support our environmental team in delivering high-quality work, efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate is highly organized and consistently professional, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and understand project workflows. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. The successful candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates exceptional attention to detail, maintains strict confidentiality, and brings strong writing and technical skills to the team.

Responsibilities

  • Support the environmental liaison by maintaining accurate project records and budgets, track progress against timelines, and assist in monitoring deliverables.
  • Attend client meetings, create and maintain workโ€‘inโ€‘progress (WIP) summaries, and provide client team with updates on deadlines, submittals, and outstanding tasks.
  • Assist with coordinating and documenting project conference calls and web meetings, including preparing and distributing meeting agendas and minutes.
  • Assist the environmental liaison in continuous process improvements by evaluating and refining project lifecycles for the Environmental team to minimize bottlenecks and accelerate delivery timelines.
  • Assist with the development of standardized protocols for technical deliverables to ensure consistent quality and brand integrity.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of client expections to help ensure project outputs align with client expectations and long-term organizational goals.
  • Oversee the synthesis of technical data into professional, high-impact communications for both internal leadership and external clients.
  • Assist the environmental liaison with establishing and overseeing data management protocols to protect sensitive environmental information.
  • Perform strategic reviews of project documentation to ensure technical accuracy, regulatory compliance, and alignment with project objectives.
  • Integrate new technical tools or administrative methodologies to enhance the teamโ€™s competitive edge in environmental reporting.
  • Proactively identify potential project risks or communication gaps and develop strategic interventions to maintain project momentum.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between technical staff and project leadership to ensure departmental goals are integrated into daily operations.
  • Track and report on key project milestones, providing insights into leadership on efficiency gains and areas for strategic growth.
