Job description

We are seeking a Technical Program Manager (Fulfillment) who will serve as the strategic linchpin between our frontline operations and our technology teams. In this role, your primary mission is to support and scale our fulfillment operations. You will partner directly with operations leaders, supply chain teams, finance, analytics, and frontline users to evaluate, design, and launch complex process improvements and integrations that enable our future-state growth.

Rather than just managing technical tasks, you will own the translation of operational realities into strategic execution—ensuring that every system update, workflow change, and new integration directly drives operational excellence, business continuity, and a seamless customer experience.

FCP Euro is a trusted home and online destination for European car owners and professionals. Family-owned since 1986, our mission is to make European vehicle ownership more enjoyable and enduring by delivering the highest quality parts, knowledge, and support people can rely on.  At FCP Euro, we exist to empower owners and professionals with confidence and support to care for their European cars properly. That commitment has made us more than a retailer, but a long-term partner for those who value quality, expertise, and trust throughout the life of their vehicle.

 Operational Responsibilities & Impact

  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Serve as the core communication bridge between operations, technology, analytics, finance, supply chain, and frontline users to align expectations, document business impacts, and drive organizational adoption.
  • Process Architecture: Document current-state workflows and define highly scalable future-state processes. You will proactively identify operational gaps, handoffs, and controls to champion standardization and continuous improvement.
  • Requirements Ownership: Partner with operations leaders and SMEs to gather, clarify, and document operational requirements, business rules, process controls, risks, and dependencies.
  • Change Management & Readiness: Lead business readiness, cutover execution, hypercare, and post-implementation stabilization. You will ensure the business is prepared for change by creating SOPs, work instructions, decision logs, operational playbooks, and training materials.
  • Business Testing & Validation: Develop and execute test scenarios, test scripts, validation plans, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support materials to guarantee that new features function flawlessly in a live fulfillment environment.

 Technical Experience & System Requirements

To effectively bridge the gap between business and technology, you must possess a strong technical aptitude and a proven track record of supporting complex commerce architectures. You will use this technical foundation to convert operational needs into actionable technical specifications that delivery teams can execute without friction.

 Core Experience

  • Operational Tech Landscape: 7–10+ years of experience supporting complex technology environments as a technical program manager, functional consultant, product owner, or analyst. Deep familiarity with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems), ERP, OMS (Order Management Systems), ecommerce, fulfillment, distribution, or supply chain technology is required.
  • Modern Architecture & Distributed Systems: Solid understanding of Cloud Data/Platform Engineering, Microservices architectures, and Distributed Systems to effectively map how data flows through highly integrated, scalable environments.
  • Technical Translation: Proven ability to translate business rules, operational controls, and process requirements into clean, technical artifacts including functional specifications, user stories, configuration inputs, data flows, and clear acceptance criteria.
  • Defect & Triage Support: Experience partnering directly with engineering teams to reproduce operational issues, support defect triage, validate technical resolutions, and ensure system integrations support ongoing business continuity.
Preferred Skills & Toolsets
  • Development & Scripting Languages: Hands-on experience or strong familiarity with Ruby on Rails and/or Python for understanding application logic and data processing.
  • Data & Analytics Competency: Strong proficiency in SQL, cloud data environments (e.g., Snowflake, AWS data services), and Data Science disciplines.
  • Business Intelligence: Experience working with Tableau or other enterprise BI tools to investigate business problems, visualize data patterns, and establish target performance metrics.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting large-scale business transformation and system deployments from initial requirements gathering through to go-live support and stabilization.
  • History of working cross-functionally in ecommerce and fulfillment environments to solve complex system problems and hit aggressive timelines tied to quantified success criteria.
  • Strong change-management orientation with the ability to support user adoption and reinforce new ways of working with frontline users.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, ideally in engineering, supply chain, business systems, analytics, or a related discipline.

 Benefits & Perks

  • Company-subsidized Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance, including a zero-premium Medical plan for employees. Company HSA contribution.
  • 120 hours of PTO (Paid Time Off), 40 hours of Paid Sick Time, plus Company Holidays
  • 401 (k) with Company deposit and match.
  • Discounted prices on our catalog of European car parts!

 Compensation:
This is an exempt role with a base salary of $130,000-$160,000, depending on experience, and a total compensation opportunity of $146,500-$180,300 annually.
