We are currently seeking a Demand Planning Intern who will be based out in our NYC Office.
Job Description
Your Opportunity
Support demand planning activities in the North America Region for the sales channel, assuring the achievement of service level requirements/targets are met following directions of Director of Logistics & Planning, Head of Planning, VP of Sales Operations and the Regional Sales & Marketing teams. This individual must ensure that guidelines in terms of level of service level and Forecast Accuracy are respected.
How You Will Contribute
• Support the setup, implementation, and continuous improvement of the planning processes, including workflows and related tools, in line with HQ guidelines and NAM management direction.
• Support historical sales data analysis, customer assortment and prepare forecast inputs. Provide recommendations based on key customer buying patterns, as well as the impact of promotions and events, in close collaboration with the Key Account Channel team.
• Assist in the maintenance, development and enhancement of statistical forecasting models, ensuring alignment with Global Planning strategy and Regional business requirements.
• Support the Global S&OP process by coordinating regional data collection and analysis, ensuring timely submission to HQ. Work closely with the Regional Sales Department to identify and resolve gaps between sales forecasts and demand plans.
• Contribute proactively to improving service levels while optimizing finished goods inventory, in line with company strategy and management targets.
• Support ongoing maintenance of reporting tools to monitor and analyze key Planning KPIs.
