Job Summary

The Turbine Services Sr. Planner performs ancillary duties in addition to normal planner functions. These additional duties would include multidiscipline planning and/or Lead Planner duties so designated by the Director of Fleet Outages. These functions may be accomplished in a rotating shift or dayshift environment. Planners performing functions as defined below meet the requirements of this job classification.

Job Description

Key Accountabilities

  • Demonstrates the ability to plan multi-discipline work orders
  • Mentor and assist other planners with performance of their job functions and provide oversight of qualifications and development needs.
  • Coordinate and administer programs outside of the planning function
  • SME within a specific discipline (lead)
  • Prompt Team planner (shift worker)
  • ERO or other emergency duties (e.g. ambulance driver)
  • Create outage schedules for planners for specific disciplines (e.g. PT, VT, WT)
  • Backlog reviews to ensure work orders are planned to support

Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 10+ years of nuclear power plant planning experience in mechanical, electrical, or I&C maintenance disciplines - highly recommended
  • Solid understanding of work control process & procedures, safety procedures, auxiliary equipment, fuel handling equipment, clearance procedures, and experience in computer maintenance management systems.
  • Travel is required to support fleet outages, meetings and project execution/evaluation.
