Job description

Sodexo is currently seeking an Environmental Services Operations Manager 1 for the Baptist Health system located in Jacksonville, FL. This Manager will have oversight of approximately 32 staff in housekeeping on the 2nd and 3rd shift at Baptist South.

The hospital is licensed for 300+ beds including 2 freestanding ED's and this manager will report to the General Manager of EVS. This position is an evening shift and may include some weekends and holidays.

In this hands-on leadership role, you will oversee frontline teams to deliver exceptional environmental services that prioritize safety, compliance, and efficiency. You'll manage daily operations, guide team development, and help maintain high standards that create clean, healthy, and welcoming environments.


Accountable for managing people, setting direction and deploying resources; typically is responsible for performance evaluation, pay reviews and hire/fire decisions. Results are primarily achieved through the work of others and typically depend on the manager's ability to influence and negotiate with parts of the organization. Progression within Career Band reflects acquisition of broad technical expertise, business and industry knowledge, and process and people leadership capabilities. Accountable for business, functional or operational areas, processes or programs, which may include dotted-line or matrixed management.

Pay Range: $56270 - $72820
