Position Overview

The Environmental Laboratory Analyst I is responsible for collecting, monitoring, and testing environmental samples to determine the presence of pollutants and contaminants. This role supports environmental compliance by analyzing air, water, soil, and wastewater samples and ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.

The ideal candidate has a strong scientific foundation, experience with environmental monitoring systems, and a commitment to regulatory compliance and environmental protection.


Key Responsibilities

Environmental Monitoring & Testing

  • Collect samples from air, water, soil, wastewater, and waste streams
  • Analyze environmental samples using specialized laboratory equipment and techniques
  • Monitor environmental systems such as:
    • Wastewater treatment systems
    • Air pollution control systems
    • Waste management systems

Environmental Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations
  • Monitor permits and regulatory requirements related to operations
