The Assistant Paralegal will support a small team of 2 paralegals by assisting with essential legal tasks primarily related to civil cases. Reporting to a Paralegal Supervisor, this role involves a variety of responsibilities to ensure efficient case management and trial preparation within a legal office environment. No travel is required for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct legal research to support case strategy
  • Draft, review, and prepare legal documents
  • Manage and organize case files and related documents
  • Communicate with clients to obtain and relay information
  • Assist with trial preparation and court filing processes
  • Handle data entry and document review tasks accurately
  • Maintain calendar management for deadlines and appointments
  • Provide administrative support to the paralegal team and supervisor

Required Qualifications
