ABOUT THE POSITION:

The Marketing Intern will support the Marketing department and focus on the areas of experiential marketing, e-commerce, and social media/CSR.

SCHEDULE:

  • 32-40 hours per week – some weekends. Monday – Friday 8am – 4:30pm
  • Internship starts on June 1st, 2026 – End of August (will adjust for school schedules)

WAGE: $20.00 per hour

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Intern will have two primary focuses:

Field Marketing

  • Plan, organize, and execute all activations.
  • Determine event budget and manage expenses.
  • Develop tactics to execute various summertime experiential sampling events to execute field events with the Mariners, Seahawks (including all open to the public Training camp days), and other local community events.
  • Develop tactics to execute significant brand presence at Seafair and Torchlight parade. Manage the brand ambassador team (4-6 persons) and 10-15 employee volunteers.

Ecommerce/Socia Media

  • With Agency and Brand team, assist in monitoring social media outlets.
  • Drive execution of contests, promo, and giveaways.
  • Assist in the proliferation of social creators and influencer groups.
  • Evaluate and optimize brand and product focus on Amazon.com, working with e-commerce manager, brand and social media teams to drive traffic and sales.
  • Assist the marketing and search optimization of our 3 e-commerce sites and assist the creation and recruitment of affiliate programs for all e-commerce sites.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma: some college preferred. Undergrad working towards a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or similar field required.
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License or have reliable transportation.
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic and follow through at a variety of positions.
  • Seattle Sports (preferred)
  • Self-starter
  • Ability to successfully work both independently and in a group.
  • Must be able to work the weekend of Seafair (July 30th – August 2nd) and the Torchlight Parade (July 26th).
  • As well as the weeks of Seahawk training camp: Late July - early August.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Work environment is that of a processing environment. This employee may work around hazardous machinery, materials, chemicals, wet floors and with wet equipment. The employee may work around high voltage, hot water, and steam areas around the plant.

  • Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
  • Physical work includes climbing stairs, pulling hoses, etc.
  • Willing to work in a various-temperature environment
  • Ability to handle heavy objects safely and with proper body mechanics. Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and routinely maneuver objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to frequently talk, hear, and smell
  • Ability to frequently reach with hands and arms; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls
  • Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus
