Ayers Insurance Agency, Inc. is seeking a full-time Insurance Associate to join our team at our NEW LOCATION in Cape Coral, FL! In this critical role for the agency, this person will provide a combination of greeting clients and supporting our team while also working with the Executive team on higher-level projects.

This role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational, technology, and communication skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Insurance experience preferred but is not needed. This position is 100% in-office.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an administrative role.
  • A friendly and professional demeanor with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Exceptional work ethic.
  • Ability to grasp new concepts / automation quickly.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage time effectively in a busy office environment.
  • Strong team mentality yet works independently.
  • Acute attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to learn or knowledge of AMS360, AgencyZoom, PL Rater, and other systems.
  • Familiarity with phone systems.
  • Excellent and professional communication skills via phone, email, in person, etc.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Drive to learn and grow professionally.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to Customer Service and Sales.
  • Greet clients that come into the office or call the main agency line.
  • Maintain a neat and organized reception and lobby area, ensuring it is always tidy and presentable.
  • Provide support to the Executive Team to assist in areas of accounting / finance, HR, Marketing, and Technology.
  • Review daily mail to designated team members in each department.
  • Plan and coordinate agency events, company meetings, holiday meetings, and client appreciation events, ensuring all details and logistics are handled accurately and timely.
  • Other miscellaneous activities and projects.
