An Environmental Health Remote job involves monitoring, assessing, and advising on environmental factors that can impact human health, all while working remotely. Professionals in this field may analyze data on air and water quality, help develop policies, and ensure compliance with environmental regulations. They often collaborate with public health agencies, businesses, and communities to prevent health hazards related to the environment. Remote roles leverage technology to conduct research, communicate findings, and manage projects from a distance. This flexibility allows for a broader reach and the ability to support multiple locations without being physically present.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an environmental health remote professional?

To thrive as an Environmental Health Remote professional, you typically need a background in environmental science, public health, or a related field, often supported by a relevant degree and sometimes certification (such as REHS/RS). Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual therapy sessions at clients’ homes or within our outpatient clinic facilities, adapting your approach to meet each child’s unique needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be working with children aged 3 to 20, particularly those facing developmental and intellectual disabilities. You will engage in proactive support addressing high-risk behaviors, including self-injurious tendencies and physical aggression, and implement strategies that prioritize positive behavior reinforcement.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field is required.
  • An active and unrestricted LMFT license in California is a must, ensuring your capability to practice efficiently in this role.
  • Availability for at least 5-10 hours per week during after-school hours from 4-7 pm, with weekend flexibility preferred.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in providing positive behavioral support and tailored therapeutic interventions for children with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD).
  • Prior hands-on experience in working with the therapeutic needs of children ranging from ages 3-20 will be highly valued.
  • A valid driver’s license along with access to a registered vehicle is required for home visits.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check, inclusive of fingerprinting, is a prerequisite for employment.
Compensation and Benefits

Wellcure offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive pay, we provide an array of benefits designed to support both your professional and personal life.

  • A dynamic and supportive work environment focused on collaboration.
  • Opportunities for professional development through ongoing training and educational resources.
  • Comprehensive group health coverage to support your well-being and that of your family.
  • Generous annual paid time off to ensure work-life balance.
  • Short and Long-Term Disability Insurance for peace of mind.
  • A 401K plan to help you plan for your future with employer matching contributions.
