Environmental Services Engineer
Job Summary:
This is a on-site EVS Engineer role located in Shelbyville, IN. The EVS Engineer will be responsible for performing day-to-day tasks related to environmental services and ensuring a clean and safe hospital environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining a clean and sanitized facility
  • Adhering to infection control protocols
  • Properly Manage waste disposal including biohazardous materials and general waste
  • Operating cleaning equipment including floor buffers, scrubbers, carpet extractors and other specialized cleaning equipment

Qualifications:
  • 2 years previous EVS experience
  • Ability to work effectively in a team setting
  • Time Management
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Basic computer skills for logging and tracking tasks
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift and move objects
  • Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions
  • Must have Driver's License, clean driving record, and Proof of Auto Insurance
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
