Job description

RM Consultoria Ambiental is an international environmental consulting firm managing the regulatory and environmental setup for a manufacturing client establishing a new facility in Indianapolis, IN. We are seeking a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) based in Indiana for a strategic, project-based partnership.
The Project
The client is installing a new industrial paint booth. Our team handles the heavy lifting on the base engineering, process workflows, and SDS (Safety Data Sheets) organization. We need a local expert to finalize the compliance steps for US regulations.
​Key Responsibilities
​Review base engineering and technical documentation for a paint booth installation.
​Perform or validate VOC emissions calculations.
​Sign and seal (P.E.) the required technical documents.
​Prepare, submit, and manage the Air Permit application with IDEM (Indiana Department of Environmental Management).
​Coordinate and secure the local Fire Department approvals for the installation.
​Requirements
​Mandatory: Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) License in the State of Indiana.
​Background in Environmental, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering.
​Proven hands-on experience with IDEM air permitting and local compliance.
​Familiarity with local Fire Department codes regarding paint booths and hazardous materials is a strong plus.
​Ability to work as an independent contractor (1099) or via a B2B consulting partnership.
