Job description

The 2024 ADWEEK Experiential Awards Winner: Experiential Brand of the Year, ForbesLive produces premium conferences and experiences that connect influential leaders, entrepreneurs, and visionaries. Our events combine thought leadership, networking opportunities, and exclusive content to create memorable experiences. ForbesLive is seeking a Summer 2026 intern to join our collaborative team, focusing on providing support to our Logistics & Programming. 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive support to the ForbesLive core teams including Audience & Community Marketing, Sponsorship, Production, with emphasis on Logistics and Programming
  • Conduct research to identify potential venues, speakers, production partners, and relevant contacts
  • Craft compelling email copy for communication with Forbes leadership, potential speakers, venues, and partners
  • Assist with pre-event planning, on-site execution, and post-event follow-up for ForbesLive events
  • Support event logistics at the Forbes event space in New York (Forbes on Fifth) and other event locations
  • Manage administrative tasks including scheduling, database management, and logistics coordination
  • Maintain inventory of event assets and assist with managing event calendars
  • Help source new venues and vendors while building relationships with existing partners
  • Collaborate across revenue teams to coordinate project needs and ensure successful event execution

The ideal candidate:

  • Passionate about learning the intricacies of the events industry
  • Currently enrolled college student (preferably Junior or Senior) based in the New York Metropolitan Area
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Creative problem-solving abilities and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Google Workspace
  • Willingness to learn new tools such as Smartsheet (Forbes project management tool)
  • Ability to travel to events as needed and be available for evening/weekend events when required
  • Physical requirements include standing, walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying 25+ lbs. in both indoor and outdoor environments

About out Summer Intern Program:

  • Our internships are paid.
  • This internship is approximately 40 hours/week Monday-Friday.
  • Internships begin mid-June and end mid-August
  • Interns are invited to weekly presentations to hear from leaders within the organization.

The hourly rate for this role is $21.00 - $21.00
