What are environmental data resources?

Environmental Data Resources (EDR) are organizations or databases that collect, manage, and provide access to data regarding environmental conditions, hazards, and regulatory compliance. These resources are used by environmental professionals, real estate developers, and government agencies to assess site contamination, environmental risks, and compliance with environmental regulations. EDRs typically offer reports and mapping tools that compile information from federal, state, and local sources to help users make informed decisions about land use and development.
