About the role
As an Environmental Data Manager at Encamp, you will be responsible for taming our customer's complex environmental data. You'll support our customers through successful implementation by scoping and creating a repeatable process to transform and import customer data into the Encamp Intelligence Platform. EDMs are vital - they ensure our customer has a sturdy and accurate foundation rooted in clean and accurate data to support their journey to build value with Encamp.
What you'll do
  • Scope and manage the implementation of our customers' data by coordinating with our Engineering team
  • Ensuring functional and accurate data pipelines by providing SME support, QAing data pipeline work, and escalating issues while communicating priorities to Engineering
  • Fulfills customer bespoke reporting obligations
  • Creates and maintains technical documentation to support how the Encamp application and regulations work

Qualifications
  • You have 5+ years of industry experience analyzing and interpreting environmental data
  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related Science degree; previous work experience can be used in lieu of education
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and Excel
  • Curious about AI tools and open to experimenting with them to work smarter-no prior experience needed, just a willingness to learn
  • Come with a beginner's mindset - you'll be flexible and willing to learn new techniques to get fundamentally faster at complicated technical tasks and have the vulnerability to seek out mentorship where you need it
  • Must be proactive, organized, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
