JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position Purpose:

The Analyst plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and data-driven solutions. This professionalutilizestheir businessexpertisetocloselycollaboratewith product owners, data engineers, and stakeholders to define and refine product requirements,leveragingdata insights to inform strategic decisions. Theyare responsible foranalyzing user behavior, market trends, and product performance metrics to guide feature development,optimizeuser experience, and drive business growth.

In this role, the analyst serves asasubject matter expert (SME), ensuring data quality and governance, translating complex datasets into actionable insights, and supporting the creation of self-service analytics platforms.Strong communicationand strategic thinking are essential, as the analyst must present findings clearly and influence cross-functional teams.

Technical Skills and Expertise

  • Data Analysis & Visualization:Skilled in tools like Excel, Tableau, Power BI,etc.fordataanalysisand visual storytelling.
  • Business Intelligence Tools:Experience with BI platforms and reporting tools to create dashboards and monitor KPIs.
  • Process Modeling & Workflow Analysis:Familiar with tools like Visio orLucidchartto map andoptimizebusiness processes.
  • Software Testing Principles:Understandingmanual and automated testing, test cases, and QA processes.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Independently elicit requirements & analysis for creation of enterprise data assets. Create reports and contribute to various data governance & management initiatives. Research and analyze data to drive business decisions.
  • Partner with Data Engineers, Stakeholders, and Product Owner to understand requirements and business processes. Independently support the development and maintenance of enterprise data sets, reporting systems and/or reporting tools to provide business value.
  • Support ad hoc research and analysis activities. Present and communicate insights from research and analysis. to business users and managers.
  • Contribute to Data Catalog and Analytics Community of Practice
  • Present and explain complex analytics concepts & methodologies to non-technical business partners.

Direction of Others:

Relies on experience to plan and accomplish goals. May provide work direction to associate analyst or cross functional support team members.

Minimum Qualification, Skill and/or Competency Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Computer Science, MIS, or related field) or relevant work experience equivalent
  • Intermediate SQL Knowledge, Intermediate ELT knowledge and basic Data Modeling skills
  • Minimum of 5 years' IT experience and 3 years working with data either in the form of report building or querying data for analytical purposes.
  • Strong conceptual and communication skills in context of translating business needs into technical solutions
  • Experience in measurement and analysis, quantitative business problem solving, operational and business analytics delivery
  • Intermediate level project management/agile skills

PAY RANGE:

$90,039.00 - $139,561.00

PROFIT SHARING: In 2026 Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $3,600 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit Sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
