What You’ll Do

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and project teams to gather and document business and technical requirements.
  • Analyze entity relationship diagrams, file specifications, and database models to develop detailed ETL mappings, Web API designs, and BI report specifications.
  • Perform data analysis, cleansing, test data creation, and verification during design and testing phases.
  • Develop and execute SQL queries for data analysis, testing, and validation.
  • Create and maintain documentation including test plans, traceability matrices, work breakdown structures, and change requests.
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and assist in the development of testing documentation and matrices.
  • Identify gaps in processes or requirements and recommend solutions to mitigate risks.
  • Facilitate customer meetings, including requirements gathering and JAD sessions.
  • Support Agile and structured project management methodologies throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, or Systems Analyst in a data warehouse or IT environment
  • 4+ years of experience analyzing database structures and developing specifications for ETL, Web APIs, or reporting
  • 2+ years of experience developing SQL queries
  • 3+ years of experience analyzing business processes and workflows
  • Experience working in a client-facing role with excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid work environment
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Must not require visa sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in healthcare, Medicaid/Medicare, government programs, or similarly regulated environments
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • Background in ETL and data warehousing
  • Experience with Teradata SQL Assistant, SharePoint, and MS Project
  • Experience working with data modelers and developers to optimize physical data design
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and interpret complex data sets
