Job description

Environmental Data AnalystIntroduction:

The Environmental Data Analyst will play a crucial role in updating databases, tracking waste profiles, ensuring regulatory compliance, and running reports efficiently. Attention to detail is a key requirement for this position, and candidates will need to demonstrate their data entry and typing skills during the application process.

**Attention to detail is a must for this role.  All submissions must include a basic typing/data entry test result for review

Responsibilities:
  • Update database and share site with data for all new, recertified, or amended profiles.
  • Update share site with current approvals and Notification of Treatment Standards forms.
  • Conduct technical regulatory review of waste profile data for compliance with DOT, RCRA, Land Ban, and other regulations.
  • Track and run reports using advanced knowledge of Excel.
  • Validate shipment data for waste tracking purposes.
Requirements:Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements:
  • RCRA and DOT Regulatory compliance or Quality or Government Regulation experience preferred.
  • Manifesting and profiling hazardous and non-hazardous waste experience preferred.
  • Pre-assignment and/or pre-hire customer-specific drug and/or alcohol testing may be required by certain customer-contract requirements.
Other Skills:
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel or similar database software.
  • Knowledge of word processors, like Microsoft Word.
  • Excellent typing and transcription skills, including typing at fast speeds.
  • Ability to research and collect data.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Time management and organization.
  • Multi-tasking.
Education and Experience:

Education: B.S. Degree is required.
