Job description: Duties/Activities: Will manage environmental compliance related tasks, programs and plants. Will inspectfacilities, track audits and follow up with corrective action. Monitoring environmental compliance, i.e, permits, licenses, applications and records to ensure compliance with licensing requirements. Identifying compliance issues and developing corrective action plans, act as a technical resource to address and resolve inquiries and problems regarding production, quality and work problems as appropriate. Compliance inspections- determine the nature of code violations and actions to be taken, develop corrective course of action. Provides technical support to internal customers related to environmental projects, processes audits and compliance. Provide compliance training to internal customers, offer guidance and support to improve competency and commitment. Ensure policies/procedures for the general operation of the business unit's compliance programs. Responsibleformaintaining Intellex Program and producing monthly updates. Qualifications: Must have a BS in Environmental Science or related field (technical).4-7 yrs experience minimum in poultry or meat/protein.Must have 40CFR, Wastewater license, knowledge of federal, state and local regulatory requirements, Management experience is not a necessity.
