Role Description: This is a full-time, on-site role for an Environmental Technician, based in Wisconsin. The Environmental Technician will support the assessment of environmental hazards, such as asbestos, lead-based paint, and mold. Responsibilities include traveling to and conducting environmental testing in the field, as well as documenting samples and results, and producing professional reports with findings and recommendations. This role requires accurate documentation, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, and effective communication with team members and clients.
Primary responsibilities: Environmental site assessment to include field investigations for asbestos materials, lead-based paint, or mold depending on client needs. Sample collection and report preparation. Comfort with working independently and on construction sites. Ability to record field observations in a formal report. Ability to multi-task and work on numerous projects of various sizes and scope at once.
Qualifications: Willing to train the right candidate; however, the ideal candidate possesses: Continued education/post High School degree; Building construction experience or remediation/restoration experience; Strong written and verbal skills; Comfortable operating a computer and use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), CAD, and Adobe; Reliable transportation.
