Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Material Handler, Service DeliveryAs a Material Handler, Service Delivery you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and processing hazardous and nonhazardous waste materials at a service center with supervision.
  • Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and consistently maintaining safe practices
  • Loads, unloads and processes solid and liquid waste safely in accordance with Company, Federal, State and Local rules and regulations
  • Performs basic spill cleanup and housekeeping duties as directed
  • Perform chemical compatibility checks to prevent reactions and other issues
  • Utilizes barcode system equipment to document certain inventory activities
  • Utilizes knowledge of applicable EPA, DOT, OSHA and permit regulations
  • Utilizes appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed including boots, gloves, suits, eye/ear protection and a respirator
  • Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization
  • Be willing to work two Saturdays per month when needed

Education
High-school diploma or equivalent (required)
Experience
  • 1+ years of related experience (required)
