Seeking a hands on Lead with previous data center experience. Responsibilities include: Whip Preparation Stage, unwrap, and phase-tape whips (primary/secondary) prior to deployment. Tap Box Installation Install or replace tap boxes. Run whips from tap boxes to RPDUs/PMDUs. Whip Installation & Dressing Route, secure, and dress whips. Cut zip-tie tails flush to eliminate safety hazards. Power Validation & Failover Testing Validate A-side, B-side, and dual-source power. Confirm independent load support for each rack. Grounding Install server grounding leads. Connect to continuous row grounding infrastructure. Colocation Housekeeping Perform pre- and post-work cleanup. Remove packaging and debris. Maintain clear egress paths. Safety & Operational Execution Safe operation of MEWPs and rolling stairs. Work in tight/critical-space environments. Maintain situational awareness of cords, equipment, site access requirements, and escalation procedures.
