Environmental Field Services Technician — Confined Space & Tank Cleaning

Location: Cicero, IL
Start Date: 07/20/2026
Pay: $20.00/hr
Shift: To be discussed

You arrive on site in Cicero ready to protect people and the environment. The day may start with a tank entry and finish with an urgent call to help contain a spill. You’ll suit up with your respirator, lace your steel-toe boots, and put your hands on the tools that keep facilities clean, compliant, and safe.

What your day could look like
  • Enter confined spaces to perform thorough tank cleaning and decontamination.
  • Operate hand and power tools—jackhammers, pressure washers, and sandblasters—to remove residues and buildup.
  • Respond on-call to emergencies including waste spill cleanup, site remediation, and waste handling.
  • Use a respirator correctly (clean-shaven requirement) and follow PPE protocols, including steel-toe footwear.
  • Handle and move hazardous materials with strict adherence to safety procedures.
