Job description

Job Title: Environmental Monitoring Analyst IJob Description

A global bio-pharmaceutical company specializing in generic sterile injectable manufacturing is seeking motivated individuals to join their Environmental Monitoring Team. The role involves viable and non-viable monitoring of manufacturing areas, including air, water, and surface sampling. Analysts will log samples in a proprietary LIMS and adhere to cGMP documentation practices. They will also process water, product, and commodity samples and perform bioburden testing.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct viable and non-viable monitoring of manufacturing areas.
  • Perform air, water, and surface sampling.
  • Log samples in a proprietary LIMS and adhere to cGMP documentation practices.
  • Process water, product, and commodity samples.
  • Perform bioburden testing.
  • Assist in training new hires and integrating them into the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Act as an interim lead for supervisors as needed.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, or related life science field with 0-1+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience in environmental monitoring.
  • Associate's degree or HS diploma with 1-2 years of environmental monitoring experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

Gowning in Grade A, B, C, D areas is necessary, and candidates must be comfortable with tight spaces and adhering to dress code restrictions such as no makeup, fake nails, or jewelry. Training is comprehensive and involves working with specific team trainers over several months.
