Job description

Quattro, an operating firm of Command Holdings, is seeking Operational Environment (OE) CCMD Support Planners to support the JS J7 Deputy Directorate for Joint Training & Exercises (DDJTE) to assist in the mission to develop, deliver, and enable a continuum of individual, staff and collective joint training to enhance the operational effectiveness of the current and future joint force through a concept-driven, threat informed capabilities development approach.

The Operational Environment Planner shall research, coordinate, design, and deliver products that depict coherent and realistic OE within exercises.

This position is contingent on contract award.

Work Environment:

  • Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone and printers) and /or occasional Loud noise (airfield, large equipment).
  • Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces.

    Physical Demands:

    • While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to sit, stand, talk, and hear.
    • Employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers to operate a computer.

    Travel:

    Basic Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree..

    • Current, active Top Secret security clearance.
    • Must be able to obtain SCI eligibility.
    • Minimum of ten (10) years of operational experience, with two (2) years specifically in military operations and training.

    • Experience supporting strategic or operational assessments at U.S. military staff, including the Joint Staff, Combatant Commands, or Office of the Secretary of Defense.

    • Demonstrated experience communicating/coordinating with large audiences of 250+ participants.

    • Demonstrated proficiency in using all Microsoft Office applications.
    • Outstanding communication skills, influencing abilities, and client focus.
    • Professional proficiency in English is required.
    • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

      Preferred Qualifications

      • Master’s degree.
      • Current, active TS/SCI security clearance.
      • Proficiency in use of the Joint Training Tool in support of the JELC.

      • Joint Planning Experience: One (1) year of experience in the joint or service planning process.

      • Program / project management experience.

      • Completion of JPME 1.

      • Proficient in Joint Training Tool, JMSEL.

      • Knowledge of operational environment development products and services.

      • Experience supporting Joint Staff J-7 exercises/events.
