Crowne Health Care of Springhill & Crowne Place Assisted Living
Crowne Health Care is currently accepting applications for an experienced and dependable Maintenance Director to oversee maintenance operations for Crowne Health Care of Springhill and Crowne Place Assisted Living. These two facilities are conveniently located next door to one another.
This position is responsible for maintaining a safe, functional, and comfortable environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will be organized, hands-on, dependable, and able to effectively manage the day-to-day maintenance needs of both facilities.

Qualifications
  • Previous maintenance experience required
  • Healthcare, long-term care, or assisted living maintenance experience preferred
  • General knowledge of preventative maintenance, plumbing, painting, electrical, and facility repairs
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize maintenance needs across two neighboring facilities
  • Dependable, flexible, and able to work independently
  • Ability to supervise and direct maintenance personnel as needed

Essential Job Functions
  • Plan, develop, organize, and direct the Maintenance Department for both Crowne Health Care of Springhill and Crowne Place Assisted Living
  • Perform and oversee preventative maintenance throughout both facilities
  • Complete general repairs including plumbing, painting, minor electrical work, and other routine facility maintenance
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance or safety concerns and ensure timely repairs
  • Maintain the buildings, grounds, equipment, and systems in a safe and properly functioning condition
  • Assist with recruiting, interviewing, selecting, training, supervising, disciplining, and evaluating maintenance personnel
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels of maintenance supplies, equipment, and replacement parts
  • Coordinate outside vendors and contractors when specialized repairs or services are needed
  • Maintain required maintenance records, inspections, and documentation
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with applicable healthcare, life safety, and facility regulations
  • Respond promptly to urgent maintenance needs
  • Participate in a weekly on-call rotation
