Job description

ANGLICOTECH, LLC is an established, rapidly growing, veteran-owned small business providing Global Logistics and Supply Chain management, systems and analysis.


We are seeking a Strategy, Concept, Doctrine, and Wargame SME who will thrive in a challenging, rewarding, process-oriented environment. You will be part of a team supporting the Headquarters Marine Corps (HQMC), Installations and Logistics (I&L), Logistics Current and Future Operations Branch (LPOV) Logistics Current and Future Operations Branch (LPOV) implementation of a coordinated set of initiatives in support of current and future logistics requirements enabling ongoing Marine Corps Expeditionary Logistics (EXLOG) initiatives to support future naval logistics operations and USMC operations ashore and afloat.

This Logistics SME will lead Concept and Wargaming tasks and will work on-site at the Pentagon. This individual will assist LPOV in the development of logistics concepts integration of wargaming efforts for LPOV in coordination with Combat Development and Integration, Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory, the OPNAV N-4, Joint Staff J-4, and other USMC Directorates as needed.


Location: Primarily on-site, Pentagon, Arlington, VA. Periodic remote work based on space availability.


Salary: A salary range of $150,000 - $175,000 is available for this position. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, education, certifications, technical qualifications, security clearance, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the I&L and LP Front Offices, and LPOV Leadership with program support, process improvement initiatives, communications planning, organizational leadership support, and other administrative tasks as required using MS Teams, I&L SharePoint, and/or ETMS2. Support for this task will require assessment of Unclassified, CUI, Secret, and TS/SCI logistics strategies, plans, and vision/guidance documents.
  • Support the integration of DoD, Joint, Naval, and Marine Corps strategies and concepts into naval enterprise logistics plans in order to inform and facilitate responsive logistics support to the FMF across all the MAGTF elements. Primary functions include:
  • Ground Logistics Future Concepts and Doctrine
  • Wargames & Experimentation support
  • Logistic Sponsorship Support
  • Joint and Naval Logistics Integration and/or Joint/Multi-National Concept Support
  • Staff Talks support
  • Consolidation of Study Inputs/Requests
  • Provide logistics subject matter expertise for draft Service and Functional Concepts with recommended changes to current logistics doctrine, input on Concepts of Employment, USMC Campaign of Learning, and PPBEA development in coordination with CD&I.
  • Provide research and development, process analysis, Logistics Subject Matter Expertise (SME), technical and operational evaluations, and systems engineering for programs designated by LPOV, LP, and DC I&L.
  • Support the coordination of any Logistics Advisory or higher-level process tasks to include the following:
  • Review of doctrine and policy.
  • Review Service alignment to National, Joint, and HQMC guidance for resourcing.
  • Review key topics identified by the Advisory process.


Security Clearance:

  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Clearance: TS/SCI required at start


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor of Science or Arts degree
  • 8+ years of experience supporting concept and wargaming analysis and integration.
  • Experience developing logistics strategies, concepts, and wargaming plans at a Department of Defense Service Level Headquarters level.
  • Experience coordinating and leading teams to implement concepts and wargaming plans and producing strategy products.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with senior leadership (to include flag officers or senior civilian leadership) in developing strategic initiatives.
  • Experience supporting USMC modernization or Force Development/Design efforts with CD&I.
  • Experience with USMC PBBEA, Force Development System, and Marine Corps Capabilities Based Assessment processes.
  • Experience supporting the lifecycle of Marine Corps wargames, studies and analysis, or experimentation.
  • Experience supporting logistics integration with OPNAV N4, USCG, DCMS, and Joint Staff.
  • Experience scheduling, preparation of papers, briefings, and other documents required for logistics advisory efforts.
  • Experience conducting analyses of new and emerging DoD, Service, and Joint Strategies, Concepts, and Wargame reports.
  • Experience developing and reviewing ETMS2 Tasks to include integrating multiple inputs and consolidating responses (up to 3-star level tasks).
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully execute strategic plans, and produce creative, high-quality information papers and briefs.
  • Knowledge of current and emerging Marine Corps logistics issues and initiatives.


Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Experience in the DoW PPBE process.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
