Job description

Job Title: Mailroom Associate- Driver 

Job Type: Full Time/In office 

Schedule: Monday- 12am- clean desk ; Tuesday - Saturday- 4am - clean desk 

FLSA Status:  Non-Exempt/Hourly 

Grade: H 

Function/Department: Health Plan and Healthcare Services 

Reporting to: Team Lead - Operations 

Pay : $18/hr  

Role Description:  The Mailroom Associate - Driver plays an integral part of the team, responsible for efficiently managing high volumes of mail and documents in a fast-paced environment.  This position is critical to meeting productivity metrics and ensuring the timely and accurate processing of mail.  

Roles & Responsibilities   

  • Driving company vehicle to USPS to pick mail and bring it to office 

  • Must be comfortable driving box truck. 

  • Identify and coordinate mail according to guidelines. 

  • Maintain high level of quality production, meeting hourly KPI's. 

  • Perform electronic indexing. 

  • Scan processed documents. 

  • Create and validate envelope tracking and barcodes. 

  • Perform other duties as assigned.  

Expected/Key Results  

  • Valid drivers license 

  • Ability to work early morning shift 

  • Complete tasks in accordance with metric guidelines  

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required   

Work Experience  

  • 1-2 years data entry and/or processing experience preferred

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

  • Excellent attention to detail 

  • Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality 

  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision 

  • Ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task  

Additional Qualifications  

  • Ability to work the hours necessary to satisfy the daily volume requirement, with the possibility of overtime, evenings and weekends 

  • Ability to download 2-factor authentication application(s) on personal device, in accordance with company and/or client requirements 

  • Must be able to pass the required pre-employment background investigation, including but not limited to, criminal history, work authorization verification and drug test
