Canvassing Storm Team Lead
Kingdom Roofing Systems | Central Indiana
Full-time | Base + Commission | Build Your Own Team
If you've knocked storm, run claims, and closed six figures - but you're tired of weak systems, low standards, or no real leadership opportunity... keep reading.
Kingdom Roofing Systems is hiring a producing Storm Team Lead to dominate storm markets and build out a team of 3-4 canvassing reps. This is not an entry-level role.
This is for experienced storm closers ready to level up.
Qualifications
  • Comfortable meeting with insurance adjusters
  • Able to run full roof + attic inspections
  • Understand supplements & code requirements
  • Proven experience in door-to-door canvassing or D2D sales
  • Natural leader who enjoys coaching and developing people
  • Confident communicator, face-to-face with homeowners
  • Comfortable working outdoors
  • Organized, driven, and able to hold teams accountable
  • Full-time availability (including some evenings and weekends)
  • Employment for this position is contingent upon a valid driver's license, a review of the candidate's motor vehicle record (MVR), and successful completion of a background investigation conducted in accordance with Company policies and applicable laws

Responsibilities
PRODUCTION
This is a performance role. You'll work directly with canvassers, homeowners, and management to ensure appointments are set, teams are trained properly, and performance goals are consistently met.
Annual Sales Goal: $800,000 Minimum Required: $640,000 (first 12 months) Seasonal pacing is provided to keep you on track.
You will:
  • Self-generate 95%+ of your leads
  • Work storm-impacted neighborhoods
  • Knock primarily 11 AM - 8 PM
  • Run all scheduled estimates
  • Maintain 30%+ closing ratio
  • Maintain $16,000+ average job size
  • Maintain proper gross profit margins

If you fall short? You increase activity. Saturday canvassing may be required if behind on goals.
LEADERSHIP & COACHING
This is a field leadership role for someone who thrives outdoors, communicates with confidence, and knows how to motivate a team to perform at a high level.
Your job:
  • Assign territories strategically
  • Conduct daily field huddles
  • Generate urgency and excitement around knocking
  • Train and shadow in the field
  • Track personal and team KPIs
  • Drive both production AND retention

You are responsible for culture and numbers.
SYSTEMS & PROCESSES
We are performance-driven. You will train new and existing team members in a proven conversation and appointment-setting process.
  • CRM-driven follow-up expectations (weekly touchpoints required)
  • Structured estimating and sales presentation process
  • Weekly Goal Setting & Review meetings
  • 1-hour response expectation for internal communication
  • Contracts submitted within 24 business hours
  • Accurate tracking of all leads and activities
  • Properly document inspections and damage
  • Maintain consistent follow-up inside the CRM
  • Submit contracts within 24 business hours
