📍 Full Onsite - Near the Elmhurst, IL. Area

💼 Full-Time

🕒 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (Training on 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM)

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Associate / Inspector to join our team in the healthcare packaging industry. This role is responsible for inspecting in-process and finished products to ensure they meet strict quality and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities
  • Inspect in-process and finished products to ensure they meet specifications
  • Perform precise measurements (down to 1/64 inch) using rulers and tools
  • Conduct tensile, seal strength, and visual inspections
  • Verify color accuracy and product consistency
  • Identify and communicate defects to production teams
  • Complete documentation, labeling, and quality records accurately
  • Package finished goods for shipment
  • Follow all cleanroom procedures and PPE requirements
  • Safely test materials such as films, foils, and chemicals
Qualifications
  • Experience in quality control, inspection, or lab work (preferred)
  • Ability to perform detailed measurements and repetitive tasks
  • Experience in fast-paced environments (manufacturing, production, food service, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail and organization
  • Reliable attendance and transportation
  • Willingness to follow cleanroom protocols (PPE, no fragrances, no phone use)
  • High school diploma required (Associate degree is a plus)
Work Environment
  • Cleanroom setting requiring PPE (including steel-toed shoes)
  • Seated work for extended periods performing detailed inspections
  • Team-oriented environment supporting healthcare packaging
Schedule
  • 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (M-F)
  • Training: 2–4 weeks on 1st shift (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
  • Pay: $18/hr. Base + 5% Shift Differential = $18.90/hr.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.80 - $18.80/hr.
