Job description

Quality Control Inspector - 3rd Shift
Location: Beverly, MA
Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Salary: $21 - $25 per hour plus shift differential
Position Overview:
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our team on the 3rd shift. The successful candidate will be responsible for measuring and recording product quality, inspecting incoming raw materials, and ensuring compliance with specifications and certifications.
Responsibilities:
Measure and record product quality using visual, mechanical, and optical gauging instruments.
Inspect incoming raw materials to ensure all quality requirements have been met per acceptance activities and material specifications.
Ensure conformance to certifications for all materials and components received.
Identify and segregate non-conforming materials for Material Review Board (MRB) disposition.
Generate Non-Conformance Material Reports (NCMRs) and assign ownership.
Participate in Gauge R&Rs (Repeatability and Reproducibility).
Perform applicable materials testing per acceptance activities and/or specifications.
Demonstrate strong knowledge of interpreting drawings, customer specifications, test methods, and inspection criteria.
Maintain complete, legible, and accurate records.
Independently handle problems that arise within the area of responsibility.
Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).
Utilize scheduling methods and adapt to changing priorities as directed by Supervisor/Manager.
Interact effectively with other employees within the department and the company.
Release product to the next location upon completion within the SAP system.
Qualifications:
High School/Trade School Diploma or GED.
1-2 years of experience in Quality Control.
Experience in the medical device industry preferred.
Proficient in using small inspection tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, rulers).
