Job Description
Position Summary
Teledyne DGO is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Oil & Gas Assembler to support the assembly of high-reliability components used in demanding oil and gas applications. This role is responsible for performing mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly operations in accordance with controlled work instructions, engineering drawings, and quality requirements. The ideal candidate thrives in a regulated manufacturing environment and is committed to safety, quality, and precision.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble oil and gas components and sub-assemblies to build-to-print specifications, work instructions, and engineering drawings
  • Use a variety of hand tools, torque wrenches, and specialized assembly tooling
  • Perform assembly of pressure-rated components, fittings, and related hardware
  • Follow all quality, safety, and cleanliness standards, including stop-work authority
  • Complete required production and quality documentation to ensure traceability
  • Conduct in-process inspections and participate in quality checks
  • Communicate defects, material shortages, or process concerns to leadership
  • Support continuous improvement and maintain organized work areas
  • Assist with training and mentoring new assemblers as needed

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly experience
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, and work instructions
  • Experience using hand tools and precision measurement equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
  • Basic computer skills

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in oil & gas, aerospace, marine, or defense manufacturing
  • Experience with pressure-rated or safety-critical components
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality systems
  • Experience working in a controlled manufacturing environment

Physical & Work Environment Requirements
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs with or without accommodation
  • Manual dexterity for detailed assembly tasks
  • Compliance with PPE and safety requirements
